AGM - Annual General Meeting
We held our Annual General Meeting at the Arrow & Slocan Lakes Community Services Building in Nakusp. The meeting was well-attended and we selected new board members and planned for the year ahead.

Halfway Hot Springs Hike & Soak - Sunday November 20, 2011
Soak away the last of fall with a hike and soak in the natural hot springs !
From the trailhead it is a short hike down through the forest to the Halfway River. Approximate hiking time is 1 hour return (assuming good road access). Alternatively, if the white stuff doesn’t stop falling, participants could ski or snowshoe in to the hot springs, total distance will be dependent on the road access (total distance from highway 11km).
Be prepared for winter weather (warm jacket, rain gear, toque/mitts, extra clothing), wear appropriate footwear, bring plenty of water and food as well as safety gear (bear spray/bangers, first aid kit, whistle) and be ready to enjoy a great hike/soak.
This is an un-guided hike. The road to the trailhead begins north of Nakusp, near the Halfway River. In early Fall the trailhead was accessible via 2-wheel drive vehicle, but has rough sections. (Conditions will vary with weather conditions.)

Upcoming Strategic Planning Meeting - Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011
Location: Tenderfoot Lounge of the Kuskanax Lodge in Nakusp, north of/behind the main building, downstairs
Time: 6:00 pm
This event will help us focus and organize our work and play next year and give us an opportunity to quickly evaluate how our club operates.
The documentation of this planning will also be great to include in our grant applications.
Please review the agenda and print a copy to bring to the meeting.
We will be providing Pizza (carnivore & vegetarian) and drinks. We will try very hard to stay on task and on schedule so the meeting will be productive and not too long. Please print the Agenda page and bring it with you :)
